The SFW Conferences provide an opportunity for global professionals at every level to participate, network, and advance their careers and their knowledge. A city-wide festival of events that connects international communities and leaders to address how access to networking and connections can have a profoundly positive impact on society and business. 

Singularity Festival is where all of the pieces come together: developers, innovators, business people, creators, artists and investors. In this first edition, Singularity Festival is focusing on changing mainstream business thinking and practices; on how the close partnership between business and the Innovation community is building the convergence and singularity. That future is everywhere you look.

With one unified Festival and 4 flag events spanning 15 tracks of programming, there were so many opportunities for networking, learning, and discovery through Keynotes, Featured Speakers, and Session Formats.

Singularity Festival Week (SFW) took place between the 23rd-29th September 2019, in Heraklion – Crete. It played an important role as a vehicle for sharing ideas, showcasing the best of Greek development and attracting international investment and talent.

Diversity Summit – Together we build a better future

September 27, part of SFW, Diversity Summit took place and aimed at giving chances, access and inclusion to everybody. Diversity Summit 2019 was dedicated to improving fairness and equity by recognizing the inherent value of every person and group.

At the Diversity Summit, human resource professionals, managers, developers, academia, Public Administration, diversity specialists and employees learned about various initiatives that promote equality and inclusion and had a unique opportunity to network. Diversity Summit wants to foster an environment of respect and understanding and show how we can build a stronger, more inclusive and competitive organization that reflects the diversity of workforce and customer base.

YET was organizer of the Summit, along with Women Techmakers Greece (WTM Greece) & Google Developers Group Greece (GDG Greece). Supporters of the event were Mozila, Welcome Pickups, Google, Randstad, Pixplicity.
