Another successful visit by one of the biggest American food companies and close YET partner, Chick-Fil-A, took place mid May 2013. This time we hosted events in a number of cities. In Volos Chick-Fil-A team had a meeting at the local Chamber of Commerce. A discussion with high-school students in Katerini was next. Chick-Fil-A SERVE model was presented in a workshop in Serres, at an event held at the local Technical College (TEI of Serres) in cooperation with the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Unit and the Dept. of Business Administration. A similar workshop was hosted at the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki hosted by our partners at the UOM Entrepreneurship and Innovation Unit and the Dept. of Business Administration. Finally, there was a friendly B2B meeting with Greek gourmet food company “Ergon”.
Chick-Fil-A’s seminar, through the presentation of its entrepreneurial model SERVE, intends to highlight values, principles and skills such as efficient relations management, optimum ways of running a business, and corporate responsibility. This time also, Chick-Fil-A’s corporate team included members of the Greek-American business community.
Chick-Fil-A is the second largest fast food chain in the U.S., specialising in chicken. The company operates more than 1,600 stores in 39 States in the US with a total turnover that reached $ 4 billion in 2011.

Engage and develop others
Reinvent continuously
