YET hosted an event with Dr. Hilton Root, Professor in the School of Public Administration of the George Mason University as the keynote speaker. Dr. Root is an expert on international economic policy and development and issues of political reform. In the debate that followed special emphasis was given on new technologies and the chance to turn Thessaloniki into a node for South-Eastern Europe in this specific market, strengthening its labour market and development opportunities in a time of intense economic crisis.
