We had the pleasure of welcoming a Chick-Fil-A team for the 3rd time in Greece late October 2011. The mission consisted of six-members -both franchisors and franchisees. This year’s activities included open events in collaboration with the American College of Thessaloniki-ACT, City College and a B2B meeting with Greek fast food company Goody’s.
Chick-Fil-A’s seminar, through the presentation of its busyness model SERVE, intends to boost values and principles such as leadership and skills such as efficient relations management, optimum ways of running a business, and also corporate responsibility. The visiting team included members of the Greek-American business community.
We aim at further developing our co-operation with Chick-Fil-A by establishing internship programmes for students from Greece and the hosting of seminars in the neighbouring Balkan countries.
Chick-Fil-A is the second largest fast food chain in the U.S., specialising in chicken. The company runs more than 1,500 stores in 39 States in the US with a total turnover that reached $ 3.5 billion in 2010.
Chick-Fil-A SERVE model:
Seeing and shaping the future
Engaging and developing others
Reinventing continuously
Valuing results and relationships
Embodying the values
