We are proud and happy to announce the launch of “DisinfoHacks” Project. DisinfoHacks is an innovative training program that aims to train communication and media stakeholders and influencers on how to identify and combat disinformation, one of the greatest challenges that modern societies are facing currently. We are honored to be co-organisers along with DCN Global and ADandPRLab of Department of Communication, Media and Culture, of Panteion University Athens. DisinfoHacks is funded by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy Athens, and supported by Socialinnov and Found.ation

The overall design of the program is offering the opportunity for media and information ecosystem stakeholders and actors to come together, to build a trusting relationship as they will be challenged to develop new skills and mindsets, to think, ideate, negotiate, collaborate to identify, and test specific “DisinfoHacks” solutions to combat disinformation activities and efforts.

This community will learn together and from each other with the ultimate goal of generating concrete deliverables, materialized in campaigns and other forms of engagement, meant to counter disinformation and other malign influences in the new information system.

DisinfoHacks Launch Event took place Friday December 10th 2021 at The Hub Events, Athens.
