A group of 40 students, young artists and entrepreneurs from the municipality of Stari grad, Belgrade, were hosted in Thessaloniki late October 2014. The goal of the visit was to introduce the youth of Belgrade to the cultural and historical heritage of Thessaloniki, as well as the mutual Greek and Serbian historic bonds. This visit was also a good opportunity for the young Serbian participants to experience events that were part of the Thessaloniki – European Youth Capital 2014 project and to find out more about the culture of volunteering.

YET Co-founder and Chairman of the Board, Mr. Vassilis Tsoulis, was happy to meet with the group of young visitors from Belgrade. He provided a keynote speech about YET activities and goals that was focused on the benefits of EU project (eg Youth in Action Program) for participants and volunteers. Finally, this was a good networking opportunity with Stari Grad Municipality.
