This December, the picturesque city of Teruel, Spain, served as the backdrop for the eagerly anticipated kick-off meeting of the SFEntre Erasmus+ Project. YET NGO, along with our project partners, gathered to launch an initiative that promises to revolutionize the culinary entrepreneurship landscape across Europe.

We are collaborating with a dynamic group of partners to bring this project to fruition:

  • Cámara Oficial de Comercio e Industria de Teruel (Spain) – Leading the project.
  • FASE Formación (Spain)
  • CFP G. Zanardelli (Italy)
  • IRIS Sustainable Development (Sweden), and
  • Omnia (Cyprus)

Each bringing unique expertise and insights to enrich the project.

The SFEntre Project is dedicated to:

  • Empowering Culinary Entrepreneurs: We aim to equip food entrepreneurs with green skills and the principles of slow food, ensuring that sustainability is at the heart of their business models.
  • Developing Training Modules: Innovative and practical training modules are being crafted to promote sustainable and slow food entrepreneurship, encouraging a new wave of eco-conscious culinary leaders.
  • Promoting the Slow Food Movement: We are committed to advancing the slow food movement across Europe, emphasizing local, sustainable, and quality food consumption.

During the two-day meeting, we:

  • Discussed the project’s objectives and outlined the key milestones we plan to achieve.
  • Aligned our strategies to boost the entrepreneurial capacity within the European food sector, focusing on sustainability and inclusivity.
  • Set the groundwork for upcoming training sessions and policy development efforts aimed at creating a greener and more inclusive food ecosystem within the EU.

At YET NGO, we are excited about the positive changes the SFEntre project will bring to Europe’s food and entrepreneurial sectors. This project is not just about teaching skills; it’s about creating a community of innovators who value sustainability as much as profitability.
