Chick-Fil-A Thessaloniki 2019 – Providing Effective Customer Service Through Social Media

We were delighted to have once again a Chick-Fil-A team visiting Thessaloniki. This marked the 10th year of cooperation with the second largest quick service chicken restaurant chain in the United States.

Chick-Fil-A, founded in May 1946, operate more than 2,300 restaurants in 38 US States and annual sales of more than US$10.5 billion. Chick-Fil-A is an American fast food restaurant chain headquartered in the Atlanta suburb of College Park, Georgia, specializing in chicken sandwiches. 

Invited speakers shared with the audience (college students and business people) valuable insights giving a taste of the latest trends in social media and effective social media marketing practices. During their presentation they discussed Chick-Fil-A’s strategy and objectives, as well as the way the company manages attacks and criticism by competitors or dissatisfied customers.

The seminar that took place 11 November 2019, was hosted at CITY College, Sheffield University International Faculty, by the Business Administration and Economics Department (BAED) and co-organised with our longtime partner Interbalkan Institute for Educational and Economic Development (IIEED) and its Founder Dr Ignatios Meimaris.
