DiFens Final conference was hosted by the University of Cyprus at their premises in Nicosia, Feb 14th & 15th 2019. The two day event included the final work meeting of the partners and an open conference. At the work meeting there was discussion on the program outputs, the DiFens Platform and e-Manual and possible sustainability strategies for those. Also, managerial issues (financial reporting for the closing of the program, budget planning etc).
The second day of the meeting there was an open, international event on the outputs of the program, with presentations on the Intellectual Outputs and also from international guest startups and entrepreneurs. All the Program partners presented their work, with keynotes and workshops on Cybersecurity, Digital Risk Assessment, Business Digitalization, Legal Issues, GDPR and Digital Security for Young Social Innovators.
YET was represented by a keynote on Business Digitalization by Co-founders Mr. Vassilis Tsoulis and Mr. Nasos Panagiotidis. We were very happy to have with us Mrs Souzana Theodoridou, Grekaddict.com Founder & CEO, who presented her Thessaloniki based startup, in connection to the Business Digitalization topic.
The Closing Event was a big success, with more than 70 participants, high school students, college students, professionals, business people etc.
